7-4 teams should really learn their place. If I recall, we scored 39 on your team.
But, to answer your question, the defense is improving. We've got to get some depth in the middle, which is what is supposedly happening with recruiting.

maybe,,,,just maybe,,, that might have something to do with us scoring at will? maybe? shite LSU was scoring on 5 play drives? LSU was trying to run out the clock but aggie players didn't want to tackle, that's not LSU's fault.

I've been telling our fans this for a long time time. The staff has tried to recruit regionally (SEC), if not nationally and passed on most of the kids that the Sips got. The fan-base lost their collective minds.
You can recruit the top kids in TX and be fairly successful in the Big 12, because almost every team in that league does the same. OU has been recruiting TX and CA. That is why they are dominant in their league. A&M fans need to adjust to this mindset.
