Actually, the Sips are negotiating the buyout terms. They are also a little afraid to hire him due to the crap storm surrounding his firing. They had to settle a discrimination lawsuit from the Track coach, which cost them more than $1M.

Did they actually settle? I thought not only that Kearney refused to settle, but was asking for over $3 Million, which requires Board of Regents approval.
