I'm still confused too.

In every football game in the world time is kept on the field, except this game where they referred to the booth for the correct time.

While LSU lost the game, they didn't lose the game because time as expired as indicated, they lost the game because of an illegal shift, which in turn, should have caused a 10 second run off, due to no LSU timeouts remaining. That's not what they called.

Either way, LSU lost, but the referral to the booth for the correct time was confusing.
