Hurts enrolled at Bama as a 17 yo dual threat QB. He turned 18 only 3 months ago. He is very smart and comes from a great family. He has the tools to develop. His development will hinge on his commitment to be a great passer. I wouldn't bet against him.

If I'm wrong and he ends up as an everyday starter in the NFL I'd gladly eat crow. Like you said, he's a great kid. I really mean that, if I had a daughter I'd be pleased for her to bring a guy like him home. If BowlJackson is saying that about a Bama QB it should tell you I mean no ill will here
I already said I think he'll have about as successful of a college career as you can have and can have a long NFL career as a backup. Maybe even a journeyman starter. That's just my opinion, and at this point in time I don't see it in his future to be a franchise QB or even an everyday starter in the NFL. I wish the kid all the luck in the world and after he leaves Bama I'll be rooting for him. But OP asked how we see his career, and at this point in time that's what I think .
