The best college comp I have for him isn't a Taj Boyd or a Dak Prescott-- it goes back a bit further, to another 'mobile QB' who started out being an accurate sideline to sideline short passer, given to single and double reads before taking off to gain what he could on his own, who gradually had his range of throws and reads expanded as he matured into a leadership role-- Donovan McNabb of Syracuse. Now, he's leaps and bounds faster than McNabb, and McNabb had serious issues with being sacked for years at a very bad Syracuse team-- it completely crushed his rushing numbers. Syracuse had a weird modified option offense, as well, so it wasn't always instructive to look at their base for comparison, so much as their passing down offense.

That said, if he is asked to mature the same way, and grows his game in the same sort of fashion, there is no reason he can't be an NFL QB.
