I fail to see why it's an outlandish prediction to say Auburn will lose to Clemson, LSU, Alabama, and UGA next year.

Playing at Clemson is not an easy task and Dabo recruits as well as anyone. They haven't had much issues replacing QB's either. They'll also return most of their o-line, two receivers that have over 500 yards this year, and most of their defense.

Auburn hasn't won at LSU since 1999. I highly doubt any of you seriously believe that's an automatic win.

Since Gus has been hired, he is 4-8 vs UGA, LSU, and Alabama. Two of those wins being improbable finishes in 2013.

Neither is it outlandish to say we win 3 out of those 4.

Clemson will certainly be favored, but that game is winnable. They lost to Pitt at home this year, and struggled in home games vs Troy and NC State. If Stidham ends up at AU, I'm fairly confident we will be better than all three of those teams.

No road game against a talented SEC team is an 'automatic win'. But the recent history of the series has nothing to do with next year's contest. I like our chances against an Orgeron-coached team, regardless of venue.

That record is troubling, I'll admit. But the key factors in most of the losses were poor defense and QB play. The former has been successfully addressed; Stidham may provide a solution to the latter. Time will tell.
