Why

Well one could question why there is such disparity in the rankings when teams produce similar losses. The committee drops or raises teams rankings each week depending on their play and their results. How can the committee drop a team 1 spot after losing to an unranked opponent and keep them in the top 4 ( Michigan after losing to Iowa). How can Auburn only drop 2 spots after getting blown out by Bama when LSU held Bama scoreless for 3 1/2 qtrs and only lost by 10? Makes no sense. Don't be sensitive. I said that Auburn deserves to be ranked ahead of LSU and go to the Sugar ( actually neither of our teams deserve to go) , but there is something seriously wrong and foul about these rankings each week.

You are looking at this completely wrong. You don't have to drop just because you lose. That's not how rankings work. You rank them from the best team at #1 down to #25. Each week, they start with a new slate. Your previous ranking doesn't mean shite.
