I just don't see any way we could go out and hire a top notch DC with our current situation. LSU did it with Aranda but he was stepping into a ton of talent on D, which is not the case with us. Our coach is a lame duck and we clearly have an image/physicality problem on D. Firing Chavis is a half measure meant to appease the fans and nothing else at this point. You might as well just keep him and hold on to that buyout money for next year
