There is no perfect way to do it. Polls will inherently be subjective and computer rankings have trouble taking external factors into consideration.

People bitched incessantly about the BCS, but this is just the BCS with the ability to override results they don't like.

What is messed up is ONE SEC team in the top 10 and that isn't on the committee... If there ever was a year for two SEC teams, this was it and where does the SEC find itself?

LSU - getting their shite pushed in by Wisconsin early...

AU - letting a tire go flat on the bus, riding the spare until it blows...

aTm - doing their usual and collapsing when they actually play someone...

AND The SEC East not even fielding an all-star team between all of them...

Well the committee proves that for sure. Just be consistent. They aren't.
