Honestly, don't really know. He is part of the offense - he plays significant minutes and averages 7-8 carries per P5 game (and has averaged 6 YPC). Saban seems happy with his play so far. My personal guess is that with our new offensive system you want guys who take the read handoff, quickly hit the whole and explode to the next level. Bo, kind of like Derek Henry until last season, takes a while to get geared up. Once he reaches the second level he is big, physical and really fast, but sometimes he isn't great at the LOS and bursting through a hole. Jacobs and Harris are both very good at it and very good at slipping the first tackle attempt while keeping balance.

Many people have said they wouldn't be surprised if Bo ends up in an H-Back role next season. I don't really know if that makes sense or not.
