I think he is more accurate than Knight. Knight is faster and has a bigger arm, but Etling seems to have good game management and nice touch on quick throws.

Etling isn't a runner, but he reminds me of Drew Brees a little bit (a very little bit, OK). He has a very good ability of moving around in the pocket to buy himself an extra second, and has good awareness in the pocket. He also seems pretty unflappable, as the final failed drive that cost Miles his job against Auburn will show. Etling may be the most-equipped QB we've had in many years to match up against Alabama.
