I watched the A&M game and I'm currently watching the South Carolina game. Why doesn't he get more playing time?

Do they really need to explain

I guess not but I mean damn, he runs hard as heck

Because Hurd needs his 28 carries for 74 yards to keep him happy.
I'm more pissed about how underutilized Alvin Kamara has been here. Bonafide stud that's been playing second fiddle for 1.5 years to a guy that wants to become a TE lol

I'm not trolling, I'm being serious. I remember during the A&M game saying he was a stud. Honestly I don't think y'all will miss a beat with Hurd gone. I always thought Kamara was better for your offense anyway.

Hurd sounds like a primadonna, probably a good thing y'all don't have to deal with him anymore

TAMU was really his first substantial action and had Hurd not quit during the UGA game we probably wouldn't have seen much of him this season. He was a true frosh last year but showed surprisingly good vision and burst in limited reps. This year he just gets better with every carry.
Coach G is a really good RBs coach but I'm not sure about some of the carry decisions and he's pretty well in charge of that. I think coaches placated Hurd too much but it was easy to do so at the time because he was such a big recruit, an in-state kid, and for that first season he was all we had at RB and as a sophomore he had a very solid year. As for Kelly, I've known for a while he was going to be good but I've been surprised at just how good. His performances have put his struggles into perspective.

Yep and tbh watching him and Hurd at SC it was obvious that Hurd wasn't 100 and gave no fricks. He played the way he has all year which has just been a shadow of the player he was the year before. Kelly, OTOH, has been exciting as hell to watch.
I just wish that Kamara hadn't gotten hurt on that late hit against Bama because the two of them were incredible on the field together against AM. Hurd and Kamara complemented one another last season and turned in some very good games but the performance Kamara and Kelly turned in as the main RB tandem was on par with some of the better RB duos in the Majors and Fulmer years. It was on a whole other level.

I am beyond rolled up when I realize that in almost two seasons here, Kamara only has 171 carries
