I'm probably guilty of that, but I didn't attend LSU like most of my friends growing up did. I decided to go out of state but I had some great opportunities coming out of high school. I think most people realize LSU will never be an Ivy League education, so they focus on what LSU is best at.

That doesn't have anything to do with why LSU grads donate so little to the university. There are NO Ivy league schools in the SEC, their students ALL focus on what their universities are best at. The difference is that they actually give back to the academic side while LSU grads don't.
