A state like Louisiana shouldn't be broke. You've got a truly international arts, entertainment, and culinary tourist destination in NO, its shipping industry, fishing industry, and all of that oil. But it can fund the state's flagship university? That is fricked up and there's no way around it.

I'm going to have to agree with everything you posted here.

So many people in the South LOVE their college football teams but HATE their colleges. I've never understood this mentality.
