Actually, LSU is 7th in total yards per play and FIRST in yards per carry. That includes the entirety of the season. We ran the ball for 6.9 yards per carry against Auburn, who is giving up 3.72 YPC.

And LSU was averaging 6.66 yards per rush through the first 7 games last year (currently 6.74) before the 1.97 yards per rush performance against Alabama. So, kind of take it with a grain of salt.
