After all is said and done, there will be four conference champions in the CFP. Always has, always will be. That is why there is a CFP and not a BCS. May sound dumb, but anyone who believes or thinks otherwise is the one who is dumb.

"Always has been" goes back a total of 21 months, two tournaments. That's it. Both those cases all conference winners were 0 or 1 loss teams with strong schedules. Nobody knows what would happen with 2 losses or a mediocre 1 loss team like Utah.
