Yup. And there's a reason Saban came to LSU. Saban did a lot of homework on LSU before accepting the job. He was surprised LSU had not been more successful than it had been the past 20 years. He considered LSU to be a sleeping giant.

The other thing about Saban is that he came to LSU because LSU stepped up and spent money. Not just on Saban's salary but on facilities and assistant coaches. Combined with the talent in Louisiana, that is why LSU is one of the top jobs in college football now. Big difference between now and 30 years ago.
