I never get the contention that LSU is at all "elite". A good program, but not one of the blue bloods like Texas and USC. Orgeron will win you some games.

Maybe because we won 2 Nattys in a 4 year span and went to 3 in an eight year span in the last 15 years. Nobody outside of bama has done as much.
