My takeaways from the game

That was a hell of a game. I never feel good after a loss but this is the best I've ever felt after a loss. These boys DO NOT GIVE UP. It's a loss but Texas A&M didn't beat us, we beat ourselves.
My takeaways from the game, I'll start out with the good:
1. Kamara should be the #1 RB the rest of the season. Dude is an all out baller. I love Hurd but Alvin fits our offense SO much better.
2. Our offense looked unstoppable today. Almost 700 total yards. He still makes some errors but no one can argue that Josh Dobbs has improved as a passer this season. This teams rides and dies with him.
3. John Kelly is going to be a stud. He stepped up nicely today and made a lot of key plays. Love watching him run.
4. Colton Jumper is making a name for himself. I'm happy eating crow on this one. He's played pretty well the last 3 games. He's made some excellent tackles in key
situations.
5. If we had Cam Sutton, JRM and DKJr out there this team would be AMAZING.
6. Despite numerous injuries we keep finding a way to put ourlselves in winning situations. It's nice to finally be able to say again that we have some depth.
7. The Offensive Line played their best game of the season today. Nice protection for the most part. Coleman Thomas stepped in nicely.
The bad:
1. We can't hold on to the football. It's like they dip the ball in Astro-Glide before the offense takes the field. We didn't have that problem last year with basically the same group of players. And for Christ sake Josh Dobbs, FALL on the damn ball when there is a fumble. Something needs to be done.
2. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Dobbs but he needs to improve his decision making in certain situations.
3. This team is WAY too undisciplined. Way too many penalties and stupid decisions. We shot ourselves in the dick way too much. Another anamoly compared to last year as we were one of the least penalized teams in the nation with virtually the same group of players.
4. We aren't very good at tackling. Way too many times I saw white jerseys just running into people instead of just wrapping up. Need to improve at this.
5. Our secondary NEVER looks back for the ball on long throws. They could get quite a few picks if they did.

We'd be deadly if we could. Hopefully Bama is the game we put it all together

We are going to be so undermanned for Bama. I hope I'm wrong

Yup. When Elliot Berry is getting significant snaps on defense, shite is dire.

Do we know who is for sure out?
Out 100% Sapp, Sutton, JRM
doubtful O'Brien, Weisman,
? Kirkland, McDowell, Hurd

North Mexico A&Ms punter is the archetype of a pussy.
#12 is a huge piece of shite.

My only real complaint, from the offense at least, is that Dobbs didn't have enough designed QB runs, especially with Garrett hobbled and often out of the game. Maybe had to do with not being on the same page as Kelly, idk

Definitely concur with that.
If we can get some guys back it might be a good game with Bammer.

Hoping like hell A&M can pull the miracle and we get a rematch in the CG.

most time Dobbs made a mistake(which wasnt many), it was because the DL got there before the snap did. Most qbs react the same way. I was dead wrong about him this year and he has proven me wrong time after time. GO BIG ORANGE

OP covered it all. No team has faced adversity like the Vols this year. We know that under duress they fight like hell, and 5/6 times we came away the winner against 4 (3) ranked opponents despite injuries. UT put up almost 700 yds against A&M and fought through 7 turnovers and a 7-28 deficit to take it into OT.
No one else is hanging 700 on the Aggies this year, unless we see them in Atlanta.
We're the most entertaining team in the nation, College Gameday follows us around like a puppy every Saturday and we get better every week.

This one stings just bc of us shooting ourselves in the dick over and over again

It is incredible that this team basically spots the other team a couple of touchdowns, everyone in the stadium knows they're coming back, and the other team can't do anything to stop it.
The dullards are calling this "luck".
Edit: good op
