What did all the slaves do with their forty acres and a mule they were given? You ever look that up?

BTW, 40 acres and a mule was 40 acres and a mule more than anything my forefathers got who arrived in this country between 1731 and 1857. And they were all here by then ... and none of them owned slaves.
But anyway ... no biggie. This will never be settled the easy way - it's against human nature and a lot of us are simply at the frick it stage.

They never received 40 acres or a mule. They got the same contract the natives got without the pox and casinos

Your forefathers weren't brought here as slaves. They were also white
If you can't see the difference. It would be nice if everyone actually tried to see life through other people's eyes. Show some empathy for other people's lives. I mean everyone. Then maybe we would get somewhere
But I do agree in one sense rooster. I think people have just said frick it and don't even try anymore
