School is slated to be cancelled in Aiken and the remaining CSRA in SC (Barnwell, Allendale) for shelter purposes as well.

LATEST FORECAST MODELS:

These are NOT good for SC, as it appears that we will experience significant effects by the majority of any of these predicted landfalls (Out of the spaghetti models proven to be historically most reliable). A close eye has to be kept on the effect the gulf stream will have on Matthew as some NHC prognosticators are warning it could remain a cat 4 and possibly even strengthen to a weak cat 5 instead of the weakening initially predicted. Because of the size of the storm, large areas will experience a minimum of tropical storm force winds as the field of tropical storm and hurricane force winds appears to be expanding.
