Just to reiterate...
I'm sorry for your upcoming misfortune. I just don't want anyone to harm themselves or others over it.
Sometimes having some time to emotionally prepare for a traumatic event can help ease the pain. I'll spare the analogies, but please understand that I'm just trying to help.
