Lol really? Is it really? I mean he wants to hype it up but really?

Really.

Coach Bryant broke his arm in a game against Coach Neyland's Vols.

It was always the biggest game to him, and Coach Neyland as well.

"Between 1971 and 1981, Alabama held an eleven-game winning streak over the Volunteers and between 1986 and 1994, a nine-game unbeaten streak. However, following Alabama's streak, Tennessee responded with a seven-game winning streak from 1995 to 2001. Alabama has won the last 9 meeting as of 2015, and 6 out of the last 9 meeting have been consecutive blowouts. Alabama currently holds 52–38–7, 53–37–8 on the field in the series.[9]

Alabama and Tennessee both have 12 shutouts in the series.

Victory cigars

In the 1950s, Jim Goostree, the head trainer for Alabama, began another tradition as he began handing out cigars following a victory over the Volunteers.[11] Both teams continued the tradition for some time, though kept it secret due to NCAA rules concerning extra benefits and tobacco products. Alabama publicly restarted the tradition in 2005, though as a result, self-reported an NCAA violation.[12] Every year since 2005, the winning team knowingly violates the NCAA rule and reports the violation in honor of tradition."

Bammer and Tennessee are the most successful teams over time in the SEC.

UT put the worst loss ever on Bammer at Legion Field 41-14 in 1995.

The 1993 game ended in a 17-17 tie. Bammer later forfeited this game.

Dales Jone INT in 1985:

Dale Jones INT

Seems like it was 2003 when UT converted a 4th and 19 in overtime to win that game.

That's interesting, that's a 27 point win.

LSU shut Alabama out 27-0 in '97 at Alabama.

That's funny, the '93 Alabama LSU game ended with Curley Hallman beating the undefeated defending national champs the week after UT tied them.

Seems like it was 2003 when LSU went in to Bryant-Denny's and won 27-3.

For as great a rivalry as this is supposed to be, you can't come up with better shite than that?
