I agree in high crime areas more frequent stops or checks happens and i can see how it would seem like targeting if you are innocent but more frequent police involvement in an area reduces crime. Targeting one race is bad, i will agree, but far too often that person screaming the police singled me out or targeted me was being suspicious or got busted with 25+ pound of dope in their trunk or had a stolen unregistered gun or something similar. They are mad they got caught and are trying to blame the cop for targeting them is why they got in trouble, which is an oxymoron, like what came first the chicken or the egg...if they werent stopped they wouldnt have been caught but they also wouldnt have been arrested if they hadnt been breaking the law...but they want to make it like the police are doing something shady by doing their jobs....people with this line of thinking are the same people that call young kids "sell outs" or other racially sensitive names at their own race' for trying to do the right thing or actually learn in school, people that do this help perpetuate the problem and negative culture
