I'm going to approach this a bit differently:

I think in 2004 it was very important that Auburn got screwed out of the title, because it led to eventual reforms to the system, and was a nice transition to eventually getting the playoffs. I think Auburn helped reform the system, and Bama completed that reform by getting paired with LSU in 2011. I'm not sure we'd even have the system we have now without both happening.

I'd take the Camback not happening. Keeping them out of a NC would have been more important than winning 2013. Besides, who's to say the players would have responded the same in '14-'15 had we won in '13?

Also, Toomer's would still have had trees, at least until 2013.
