Sorry. Not buying it. Is it something? Yeah. It's something. But it's not rebuilding. Disappointing this hot button word came out of the program after a loss.

We returned basically an entire top 10 defense.

Our QB is legit and ready now. We have receivers (just need to play the right ones). And we have RB's.

The only position group on the team that is rebuilding is the OL.

Rebuilding isn't the right word.

Adjusting would be more appropriate. A lot of new players and coaches need to adjust to each other, adjust to the systems ect.

The entire thing needs to be tuned. All involved need to find the rhythm of the program and get on board with it.

This is an adjustment period. It's not a rebuilding phase.

----------------

Because people are afraid of an existential crisis -- pain facing the reality of their existence -- they come up with all kinds of ways to avoid it.

In this case it's really easy to put hands up in the air and say 'rebuilding', instead of facing the fact that we threw away a golden opportunity to win a big winnable game last weekend.

But, turns out reality isn't all that bad. Adjusting, finding the rhythm, getting in tune with each other ect is not as bad as a full rebuild.

Ya I dont call it rebuilding.

Rebuilding is coming off of a decent or better year, and knowing you wont be very good the following season.

Most if not all of us thought we would be better. There's still plenty of time left to do so.

Rebuilding, no..... Retooling what you have, yes.
