I have a question if any of you all can answer I would appreciate it.

I noticed Jalen when he is throwing the deep ball he looks like he is throwing a javelin. My question is this the reason for the under throw? If so that's an easy fix I would think. Like teaching Henry how to pass block, just something he wasn't taught in HS.

Not knocking his play, huge supporter of his, just curious that's all.

He didn't underthrow. He is just really late on his read progression. The kids actually has a rocket.

We have to understand he is a true freshman. He has much growing and adapting to do. One of those adaptations is getting through his reads quicker.

Another adsptation would be playing faster. Anyone who has played beyond high school can atest to playing slower until they got comfortable with the system. Once you became completely comfortable you played faster, reacted quicker, etc..

My hope is we see this process move along sooner rather than later. I'm assuming that is why Saban just played him the majority of the reps Saturday. Get him further along.
