Winning allows people in charge to overlook even major issues. (These tweets are not major issues)

IMO, the general perception was that Kiffin need to rehab his image, he needed to mature. That perception may have been unfair, but it was out there. And therein lies a difference between he and Spurier. Spurrier was established and he was not in the process of rehabbing his image.
