Why allow it? If for no other reason that in this day and age of social media, it attracts recruits. Like it or not, but 17 and 18 year old kids, elite athletes that they are, are attracted to such brash and confident attitudes, especially when coming from a rock star like celebrity such as Lane Kiffin that can back it up with results. Kiffin is not a stupid fellow, nor is Saint Nick Saban. If it gives you an edge, by whatever degree, then do it.

I am fully aware that low character gestures are often celebrated and admired by adolescents and immature individuals of all ages. No argument there.

And I am certain Saban would end it immediately if he so desired. No question.

However, my opinion is still the same. Kiffin is a great OC. But he continues to show he struggles with maturity and what will that translate into if he is out from under the guidance of Saban?

But the "low character gestures" is your opinion. That's your perspective, and one that the young kids they are recruiting may not and probably do not share. You said something in your other post about being "old school" or whatever term you used, but it's judgemental is what it is.

It's not the 1950s anymore.

edit: And then directly below your post was this, from another poster........

"Not gonna lie. I love Kiffin. I love his style, I love his swag and I love the way he prepares a quarterback. He has 3 guys ready at Bama this year. "

Case in point.
