And as we have heard multiple times, one reason he was given the reigns for Ole Miss was the read option package put in specifically for his skill set; to run the damn ball! And there were several times when he should have kept it and run. But he did not, which, I believe, contributed to his being sat down. Sounds like more of the same. That is my biggest concern with Cooper and why I don't see him as the long term solution at QB. He doesn't have moxie. Game, set, and match, Hurts.

Until I see otherwise, I am rock solid in my belief that Cooper Bateman will take the first snap against the USC Trojans. However, the number of snaps he takes after that point is totally dependent on his performance/decision making. Hurts will see the field at some point. We may still rotate them for some time to come, but Hurts is the answer. Some of the people on this board better get ready for it.

Pretty much where I am, let him go in and prove himself or not.

If he can't let Hurts in and prove himself.

When they did design runs with Hurts on Sat, he looked really good. He scored on a design run and it was a thing of beauty.

These past 3 posts nailed it. His skill set is running, but yet he chooses not to. Should be the first thing you should be doing because its your safe space, go to, thing to do for a person with his skill set.
Someone compared him to AA in regards to being that kind of teammate, well, other players know when you are not giving up your body, ever. Not in practice, much less the game. Don't care about the throws, but if you are not going to use what God gave you then it's tough for me to like your QB play.
