More QB's under Les at LSU have gone backwards (lost their jobs) than have had major jumps in production.

Interesting that you bring this up. Freeze has yet to "develop" his own QB. He keeps getting them from juco. Guess we will see what becomes of poor Patterson (if he stays).

it's not just Freeze, it's Ole Miss in general. The last QB that they recruited out of high school and developed into a starter, iirc, was Michael Spurlock in 2005.
2006-2007 - Brent Schaefer and Seth Adams, both JUCO transfers
2008-2009 - Jevan Snead, transfer from Texas
2010 - Jermeiah Masoli, transfer from Oregon
2011 - Barry Brunetti, transfer from WVU, Zach Stoudt, JUCO transfer, Randall Mackey, JUCO transfer
2012-2014 - Bo Wallace, JUCO transfer
2015 - Chad Kelly, JUCO transfer

Michael Spurlock turned into a wide receiver. Robert Lane turned into a tight end. So you really have to go back to Eli Manning to find a QB that was actually recruited and developed in-house.
But it's LSU that has trouble recruiting and developing QBs
