I think they fall a lot short term for this reason. Sagan is a micromanager and s control freak to the nth degree and has total control of that program. When he leaves there will be a HUGE power vacuum that will be tough to fill and you'll have people fighting to get control back they willingly gave to Saban. The power vacuum and resulting power struggle will cause some short term issues there.
