Ole Miss will be back to turf before you know it. The turf at Razorback Stadium is a necessity here. The field doesn't get much sunlight throughout the day and the grass cannot take root properly. Grass has been tried over and over and it just doesn't work.

Turf is becoming more and more of a thing. Its less maintenance and has the feel of grass and is a softer surface. You don't have to worry about games being played in the slop and no worry of the field getting torn up during bad weather games. I remember during Nutt's tenure it would not even be halftime yet and there were chunks of the field every where from how poorly the grass was rooted. It looked like absolute shite.
