Now, there I'll agree with you to a degree, and why Nebraska will suffer going forward. They like say OU lack much in-state talent, and without their old school traditional foes have lost luster and traction, along with post Dr Tom hires.

It's why I think OU and Texas need to be careful if ever deciding to not be in the same conference. Why UNC and Duke should never become unattached,etc..

It's why the SEC switched Thanksgiving Day Arky for ATM vs LSU, to try give ATM an UT replacement.

In the short term Aggies may have lost a lil something without the UT game, but JFF, beating Bama once, the road wins for a while, and their growing pains aside. I think they are a big enough boy to adjust without their in-state foes and in moving forward as a power school in the 3 men majors.

IMO, I would say schools like Mizzou(despite two East crowns), Maryland, Nebraska,etc..are having a tougher time building forward without their traditional rivals in certain sports than is ATM.

And Woody(Scott Woodward) is gonna be a good AD.

OU will go where Texas goes
They may say different in the media but it is a negotiation ploy
Problem for both is the baggage they carry
Okie Lite, Tech and Baylor
Pac 12 does not want any of the three
The BIG is out the question for OU and the ACC is already at 14 universities
Out of the three it will be maybe Tech along with KU joining OU and UT out West
It is up to UT the university wants to go but not the athletic department
All hell will break out over Texas recruits if it happens
