What A&M thought would happen did not happen with the move to the SEC
Have fun with them
Like I said Texas exists outside of any region in the US and if you think A&M will suddenly become a power you are only kidding yourself

Don't make me defend those delusional Aggies!
The SEC is a pretty tough nut to excel in. Sure, they are Texas 7-on-7 camp soft to date(all Texas schools are), but they are learning a few things as they try to regain some Slocumb Wrecking Crew toughness.
And their Hoops and Baseball programs have been respectable in conference.
Thus far it's been what the other SEC schools would have hoped for, the usage of Texas recruiting, and Tier dollars for tv, without adding a Texas school that put up a state fence grabbing all their best ballers at one SEC Texas institution and dominating. Win-Win.
Believe me, LSU was already recruiting in Texas like OU going back decades. Thus if it were to have been UT or ATM, and they fenced up and went ham, LSU fans wouldn't have liked it, but to date, LSU's backing of ATM for membership has been great.
They're as funny on this board as their cheerleader's unis and cheers are..starting to love those delusional bastards..they're like Hornfans without the hardware and arrogance..you gotta love Aggy/Arky/Old Myth chasing that elusive dream..one day!
Never thought such, but even their biggest foes would be smug to think that the pieces aren't in place, and resources in play, to think that it will never happen..it may take a while..but the day will come eventually. Too much money, nice facilities, in state recruiting, large alumni/enrollment, SEC West residence,etc..to not.
