If Phil Savage's observations are accurate, it won't be Bateman, unless Kiffin can work some serious magic. The long ball "falling apart" is a disaster waiting to happen. Even with the Heisman winner last year, if we don't have a QB who can throw the long ball, we're toast. Long balls that fall apart get run back the other way.

It is, I've heard it from several sources on ground.

Bateman knows the playbook but is a little more athletic than Alec Morris if you catch my drift.

Kiffin from what I could tell is already moving his focus.
