Came up for a camp last week, earned a committable offer. On film I think he had body control/hips/footwork. I'm impressed. Solid enough athletic ability to go D1, but better than expected fundamentals (he tackled better than I expected on film, wrapped up in run support.)

The coaching staff at USC have been recruiting with a concerted focus on one aspect, when it comes to the defense: speed, speed, and more speed.
This kid flew under the radar of most Gamecocks recruiting boards, but apparently he showed the staff some quality speed and coverage fundamentals to earn the committable offer. We are in dire need of upgrading the speed in our secondary...
