The correct transliteration (converting from the original Hebrew letters to English letters) is "Bamah" not "Bama."

The "a" in both instances is long -- like "Bay May."

The word means "high place" -- the foundation upon which idols were built, and refers to the practice of passing their sons through the fire as a human sacrifice (obvious when read in context).

The Bay May fans burned their children to death in worship to a pagan god. You really want to cite this one?
