Go read my and the Aggies posts on page 13.. They addressed your lore..it's all you have to offer.
What Tramel,, Scarbinsky, and message board fanboys that would vote yes in his Al.com poll fail to consider is that unless the whole system fails and goes to four 20 team conferences(Please God no)..
Is that, if/when, the next move needs to be East, population, wealth, academia,, hoops pedigree, recruiting bases, closer proxy to upper Eastern seaboard to sell hoopsters on SEC..
Only a droplet of which Oklahoma the state can dare to offer. What the SEC would bring to OU(money, schedule, continued sell-ability to Tx recruits) versus what OU offers the SEC(mostly ancient lore accrued via Big 2/Add6 and later Big-12) at this juncture in time, isn't even in the ballpark of fair trade(SEC already has your Football lore in spades aka half it's current members Title Heavyweights)..it would be welfare.
