Sorry, I don't see it. It's not like we have been losing recruits or having players transfer out at a record pace.
Lost one of the best DC in the country and got an inferior one in his place, and your defense was below average (Although improved...but, as I said you downgraded at DC), You have a HC that cannot adjust his offensive scheme to his personnel. You have an OC that (if he is calling the plays) apparently does not know what he is doing (And if your HC is calling the plays.....), you got beat by one of the worst Georgia teams in many, many years, You have a jumbled up mess at QB....

Yeah, not a dumpster fire. Auburn 2012 was a dumpster fire. This team has nothing in common with that one.
I know we've been through this before, but Auburn wins 3-4 more games last year with a QB who could execute. It's not the offense adapting to personnel, but it's an offense that thrives on big plays.
I'm fine with Steele. Auburn in this era isn't defined by defense. We need one that will allow fewer points than the opponent scores. That was only a problem last year with a talented QB who couldn't handle the pressure, then starting a freshman who was hobbled by a knee injury, and then losing your best receiver mid-season.
