Look, we all know TAMU is rich in military history. Texag7's post about generals is really something to be proud of, no doubt. I think the disconnect is that some of you act like TAMU is the equivalent of the Naval Academy or something. It gets tiresome constantly reading the military bravado touted on here. Just realize it's not something that other people care about as much as y'all do.

Take Tennessee for example. Do you know the specifics behind why they are the Volunteers? Probably not, but if you do, it isn't because you read it on here 1000 times.

No, the disconnect is when the multitude of t.u. shitposters and alters bash those who are currently serving, then double down by claiming that their chancellor "did far more in his military career than any Aggy ever", accusing A&M students during World War 2 of being DRAFT DODGERS, and attempting to diminish the military history of the school.

A clear example was the dickholster texashorn claiming that by the very act of my posting on this site, I'm "wasting bandwidth that could be used by a Soldier to Skype home" and should be ashamed of myself.

A&M is not a military academy. As many of the commandants have tried to make the A&M Corps more and more similar to West Point, it isn't and we don't want it that way.
