I wouldn't put too much stock into what his attorney says. His duty is to his client, not justice for what really went down. That is not his concern. Most attorneys don't even care to know the truth, sometimes they don't even want to hear it. It is interesting they're not denying the texts, though. Not sure I'd have gone with that angle.
