Absolutely zero connection to Alabama
Works in Tennessee. Grew up in Texas. Went to Rice. Works in an industry that actually competes with companies owned by Bama alums (like Bryant Jr, who is gonna win all those contracts). Has no children or in-laws who currently or ever have gone to Bama. Bama has a worse record in games he officiates compared to any other conference ref (minimum of 3 games).
