as a top 5 pick, as of right now, he is a bust until he proves otherwise. at his slot, he's expected to be an all-pro caliber player, not just stick around in the league as a journeyman.

Exactly.

For comparison, Reggie Bush is considered by many to be a bust, and he had a pretty good career. You expect a consistent pro bowler or even an all-pro from that draft slot as a RB
