Love the intellectual elitism in this thread. Since all of you Fortune 500 CEOs only look at academic rankings, student life doesn't factor into your respective decisions?
you think anywhere in the SEC has shitty student life? Maybe some people don't like the small towns in MS, but really I have to say SEC towns are pretty legit overall. All have their pros and cons, but most people go to school to get a good job. So academics mean a lot more than who has the best bar scene.
I'm quite sure that his main point was to call out the obnoxious aggy fricks in this thread. That behavior is why so many people hate aggy. How many aggy's, on this board, fall within the Top 1% of US wage earners? Let's just call that number ~350k. I'm convinced that I have enough fingers to count. He was mocking the "intellectual elitism" because we all know that it's phony.

TAMU is a great school but we both know that it wouldn't even be on the Top 5 list in Texas. UT definitely would be on that list and that's an apples/apples comparison on cost. And I'll go ahead and get this out of the way...LSU is slightly above average (overall) and a great choice if someone wanted to study landscape architecture.

Can't believe this stupid thread is 9 pages long. As an HR professional, I don't give a shite where you got your degree... As long as it wasn't an online school.

1 - Rice
2 - Texas
3 - Texas A&M
4 - SMU
5 - Everyone else

I know it's EXTREMELY difficult and against your nature, but don't be a moron.
