The only remaining gap between Fayetteville and Springdale/Johnson is the big open field that Terminella just had rezoned. I was driving thru Johnson just last night, seeing the crane at Washington Regional for their big expansion, and realizing that I was driving through what I remember as countryside. A five-story apartment block is underway to my left, and in 5 years the entire area will be retail-lined boulevards.
