There's no doubt in my mind that the reason UT finally offered up Pearl's head to the NCAA was to save the football program from the damage Kiffin did in his one and done. The NCAA knew we were fricked in football from it anyway and went a little easier on us. And we knew that we would get royally fricked with 2 major sports under investigation if we got defiant about it.
