BOL is confirming the Key hire:

Key, 37, began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Georgia Tech in 2001. From there he spent one season at Western Carolina before moving to UCF in 2005, where he spent 11 years. A native of Birmingham, Key was in charge of recruiting northwest Alabama for the Knights, as well as other hotbeds like Florida and northwest Georgia.

In his 11th overall season at UCF, Key completed his first year as its offensive coordinator and running backs coach in 2015. He spent the previous six seasons as the program's offensive line coach, where he will reportedly coach at UA. Before that, Key served as the Knights' tight ends and special teams coach, while also having the role of recruiting coordinator.

In 2012-14, Key was a nominee for the Broyles Award, which is given to the top assistant coach in college football.
