I think some other AU posters nailed it. Of course we want wins but mainly we want to see a productive offense again as AU will live or die on offense as long as Gus is head coach. If he loses that edge then don't see how he can be successful. I think 8 wins and he is safe, 7 if the majority of losses are like this season where it's by 8 or less points and we are in the game.

The main thing for me is last season we competed in every game but LSU. It was frustrating but it felt like we had a shot and the guys played hard. He hasn't lost the team like Chiz did in 2012. Unfortunately for Gus this year's schedule is absolutely brutal especially right out the gate.

No one will expect us to do much, we have a tough schedule and might be starting a JUCO QB who we aren't sure can throw the ball accurately so of course we will win the West
