Thanks for the update. I'm guessing that Widner will take the mound but has anybody heard of a another possible starter for tomorrow's game?
As for UNCW they will have their top guy Ryan Foster with extra day rest after throwing 114 pitches Friday afternoon. The Seahawks will also use Austin Magestro and Austin Easter for a couple of innings Tuesday.
Schmidt - 89 pitches**
Widener - 48 pitches*
Our freshest arm will be Scott, who has only threw seven pitches in the regional. Clarke Schmidt, Braden Webb, Taylor Widener, Reed Scott and Josh Reagan will all be available for us tomorrow.
**Starter on Friday
*Pitched 3.1 innings Friday

Tyler Johnson single handedly destroyed the Top5 Hitting UNCW team....however, something big6 just wrote makes sense to me. What if we pitched several guys tomorrow night regardless of how the game is going?
We didn't start Tyler all year, they never saw him coming. I think they're a team that probably preps a lot for certain pitchers they expect to play the next game. That might be why they usually hit so well, but they hit like garbage against Tyler. What if we use 4+ Pitchers tomorrow and never let their batters settle in or study 1 guy too much?

I find this to be pretty ironic considering he pitched almost every game during the regular season
